It all began just before the pandemic hit. A friend returned from a pilgrimage of sacred sites in South India and along his travels picked up a number of rare exotic absolute oils.

The first oil he handed me was Blue Lotus. I poked my nose into the bottle and was immediately transported to an ancient memory that still intrigues me to this day. My eyes closed and it felt like the crown of my head was lifting off.

Coincidentally, I had just completed my training in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy and my friend had a long history of depression which he was seeking alternative healing approaches for.

I organized through Journey Clinical, my partner organization, a doctor's assessment and evaluation which led to him being prescribed a series of low dose ketamine lozenges.

We decided to use the blue lotus oil during his journey and the combination of medicines left him with a remarkable long lasting impression. In fact he said it was the second most profound experience of his life, the first being the birth of his daughter.

So that was the catalyst for what has been 5 incredible years of exploration in refining these oils and their use in the altered state.

I quickly realized that the oils are powerful alone and started to create more accessible and affordable group sound journeys with the oils and lotus flower infusion.

The "Sacred Sound Ceremony" was born and has become my signature offering and invitation for deep healing.
